A stella performance in the 2019 Royal Adelaide Show Carcase Competition has seen a Bottlesford steer named the highest scoring Murray Grey Carcase.
The steer was awarded the Murray Grey Beef Cattle Society prize and the MGA Insurance prize for the highest scoring Murray Grey Carcase, receiving an impressive 89.69 points.
The steer also had the highest eating quality of all Murray Grey cattle in the competition, with an MSA index of 63.03, putting him in the top 10% of all carcases graded for MSA eating quality in Australia.
