Gerald and Jeannette Koopman, and their son Darren, Bottlesford, Tungkillo, dominated in the female classes, winning all major awards. The grand champion female was in no doubt, with two Bottlesford females lining up for the broad sash, having won the junior and senior champion awards.

Judge Peter Sykes, Mawarra, Longford, Victoria said he chose the older cow, Bottlesford Joyce E34 because he loved the feminity of the 29 month old cow. "She has size and style, and is structurally very correct" he said. "She has a lovely udder and is doing a great job with the calf she has at foot."

The winning form of the Bottlesford cattle continued in the bull classes, with a first place in the strongly contested 10-14 month class, with Bottlesford Flinders F35, and another win in the 16-18 month class, with Bottlesford First Edition F4, who was later named Reserve Junior Champion Bull.

To cap off an epic day in the show ring, the Bottlesford cattle also won the Pair of females, Pair of Bulls, Sires Progeny Group, and Breeders Group awards; and were fittingly named Most Successful Exhibitor.
